Breathe In, Breathe Out
Count "1"
Breathe In, Breathe Out
Count "2"
Repeat until you reach 10
Stage 2
Count each breath-cycle
Silently
say the number
at the end of
each cycle
Create a
slight pause
after each count
Stage 3
Repeat
the cycle...
Say the numbers
slightly later
, just before the inhale
Repeat until you reach 10
Stage 4
Stop Counting...
Notice the effect of your new breathing pattern on your body

Notice the
movements
in your belly, rib cage, shoulders and neck...
Stage 6
Notice the
'
pulse of breath
' energizing your body...
Stage 7
Feel the change in
temperature
of your breath as it meets your nose and throat...
Stage 8
Listen to the
sound
of your
breath
...
Stage 9
Imagine
breathing
in
different colours
Stage 10
Stop focusing
on breathing and
allow yourself to simply 'be'
